Jenny Bridge. CTA(P) TSTA.(P) MSc. Psychotherapist and Counsellor
ABOUT ME:
I have been practising as a psychotherapist since 1990, and run a private practice in Kew, Richmond. Initially I completed 3 years training at the Tavistock Institute, and then studied Transactional Analysis (TA) psychotherapy at Metanoia Institute for 4 years. I qualified as a Certified Transactional Analyst (CTA) in Psychotherapy, and then continued my studies, becoming a Training and Supervising Transactional Analyst (TSTA) in psychotherapy, training other counsellors and student psychotherapists.
I am a registered psychotherapist with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP), and I am a member of the ITA (Institute of Transactional Analysis) and of EATA (the European Association of Transactional Analysis)
I subscribe to the Codes of Ethics and Professional Practice of these organisations.
MY APPROACH:
My psychotherapy approach is based on an integration of Transactional Analysis and Object Relations theory. I passionately believe that it is the therapeutic relationship that is at the heart of healing.
My counselling approach is based in TA, which offers clients some simple and effective tools that they can apply to their present lives.
